- Launch Eclipse
- Accept the default workspace location, or enter a new directory (this is where your Atelier projects/local copies of server files will be stored)
- You have two options to install the Atelier plugin
- Install stable releases of the Atelier plugin from the Eclipse Marketplace
- Select Help > Eclipse Marketplace
- Find Atelier and click Install
- Add one of the Atelier repositories to your Eclipse environment
- Select Help > Install New Software
- Click Add... and enter the following info:
- Name: Something meaningful to you, probably Atelier Stable or Atelier Beta
- Location: URL for the repository - pick stable for the fully tested version, or beta for the latest-and-greatest which goes through standard testing by developers but might still have issues
- Stable: https://atelier.jfrog.io/atelier/updates/stable/1.3/
- Beta: https://atelier.jfrog.io/atelier/updates/beta/latest/
- Click Add, select the box next to Core (containing the Atelier IDE), and click through to install
- Install stable releases of the Atelier plugin from the Eclipse Marketplace
- You will be prompted to restart Eclipse once the install is done
- To open the Atelier perspective which contains the Atelier-specific views: click Open Perspective, highlight Atelier and click Open
